Quality Assurance Lead
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, assist the Quality and Training Manager in managing the functions of and in overseeing the successful operation of the quality assurance department, including clerical support. Serves as a back-up to Appeals and Fraud representative. This position is grant funded. Continuation of position is contingent upon the availability of grant funds.
Regular attendance at Employer's place of business and/or during particular hours, as assigned, is an essential function of this position. Employee must comply with and follow YWCA’s attendance policy at all times, unless a reasonable accommodation is requested and granted, as required by law.
Monitors, monthly eligibility information to ensure complete and accurate data is on file for each child billed. Ensures all eligibility processed is monitored 100% for correct calculation and data entry of income, parent share of cost, and proper filing.
May conduct training on the Child Care Management System and the data entry process.
Assists QA Manager in reaching departmental goals and maintaining key performance measures.
Tracks correction of all identified errors and reports non-compliance with CCS procedures related to corrections to QA Manager.
Provides input in the development of local operating procedures.
Communicates with designated Supervisors and trainers on income and parent share of cost calculation errors uncovered through the monitoring process.
Process assigned monthly, daily, and weekly reporting.
May administer and coordinate semiannual survey, including data collection.
In the absence of Fraud Investigator, may coordinate and prepare documentation required for appeal hearings, fraud investigations and parent recoupment efforts.
Assures confidentiality and security for all electronic and paper records within Quality Assurance Department.
Monitor staff workload to ensure timely completion of workload and corrections of case files.
Review and monitors completion of tasks in the CCS Internal Management System
May act on behalf of the Quality Assurance Training Manager in his/her absence.
Performs duties of a Quality Assurance Monitor during absence, vacancy, or special workload periods.
Reports, tracks, and coordinates unit automation problems with the CCS Database Manager.
Participates in informational events as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s Degree or 60 credit hours college level course in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or related fields is required.
Two (2) years’ experience in related field including supervisory experience with multiple departments that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Prior-related supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills required, with ability to interact at all levels
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work under pressure with constant interruptions.
Must have initiative and work independently and autonomously when required.
Must be able to make sound judgments, have excellent decision-making skills, and possess strong conflict resolution skills.
Bilingual capabilities in English/Spanish preferred.
Must be well organized, analytical and have numerical skills.
Must be able to operate a personal computer and have skills in MS Office software.
May be required to have access to a vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license and sufficient liability insurance.
