Participants also learn resume writing, interview skills, and more to help them find the job and career for them.

Year-round, Monday through Friday. Call for more details!
Morning classes: 10 am to 1 pm

I had a troubled childhood, I did things that were wrong. I started stealing and selling drugs and I found myself in dangerous situations. A judge gave me a second chance, but it took a machete to my throat, it took me almost dying, to finally change my life and the YWCA helped me do that. They helped me get a job, inspired me to keep moving forward, and really improved my self-esteem. Before I took these classes, I felt like a lost cause. They helped me through education and job training, but also emotionally and personally. I’ve become a more positive person and my life is changing in the right direction. I have dreams now. I have attainable goals now. I finally have hope for my future.
