YWCA Senior Housing
YWCA Community Development Corporation offers one and two bedroom apartments at affordable rents to older adults. Seniors live independently in a supportive community of their peers ages 62 and above adjacent to the YWCA Dorothy Woodley Hunt branch. Seniors living in YWCA Senior Housing apartments become part of a community of adults who socialize, exercise and volunteer together. This program empowers low-income seniors who value their independence to thrive.
Applicants must be 62 years of age or older and low income (at or below 60% of area median income). Residents receive a complimentary YWCA membership and have access to the fitness programming and services offered by the YWCA. Residents may choose to have family members or caregivers live with them. Small dogs or cats are permitted with a pet deposit.
