A Provider Portal is available to contracted providers. The provider payment schedule, pay advisement, and announcements can be reviewed through the Provider Portal system. Upcoming training will be posted in the Portal:
A Provider Manual is given to each contracted caregiver that outlines the CCS requirements.
Texas Rising Star is a quality rating and improvement system for Texas early childhood programs. The TRS program includes three levels of quality designation—2-star, 3-star, and 4-star. Ratings are based on provider meeting the required measures for the star level of 2, 3, or 4. The score of the points-based measures will determine the star level for each category. Points-based measures are scored, and points awarded for them, through on-site assessments. CCS program has an average of 68 providers within these levels. The Provider Specialists mentors to provide continuous support, to assist providers to maintain their standards for their TRS Bi-Annual assessment and recertification. Technical assistance is provided to providers through observations and requests. We provide equipment and supplies, training, and educational support. Scholarships are provided to directors and staff who are interested in a Child Development Associates degree, Child Development Certificate Program or to take a course in child development through El Paso Community College for upcoming semesters.
