School Age Care - YWCA El Paso Del Norte Region

Childcare for Children Ages 0 – 12

While local school districts are contemplating full-time virtual learning or hybrid schedules, YWCA is stepping up to provide care for students whose families cannot stay at home. Many businesses, companies, organizations, and of course healthcare workers are still working. We offer fun, engaging, and educational camps at YWCA locations and even have tutors available to assist school-age children with their distance learning assignments. Our sites are equipped with WiFi and our team members can facilitate virtual school. The locations and phone numbers are below and you may call your nearest location to register. CCS is accepted at all locations.

YWCA has maintained operations throughout the pandemic and our team members are well-versed in health and safety protocols. YWCA is following the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Health and Human Services, CDC, and City of El Paso guidelines and requirements. We are taking temperatures of each child and parent who enters one of our locations. Individuals with a reading lower than 100.4 degrees will be admitted to YWCA programs. All program participants ages 2 and older are required to wear face masks and program staff members are required to wear face masks and face shields. We have implemented hand-washing times, increased cleaning and sanitization, reduced classroom ratios, limited access to program spaces, and more.
