YWCA Rates for Veterans,
Dependents, and Surviving Spouses

With the support of Texas Veterans Commission, YWCA provides special rates to veterans, veteran dependents, and surviving spouses. These rates apply to our Early Learning Academies (highly rated early childhood education for children ages 0-5), our School Age Programs (After School Programs and Summer Camps for children ages 4-12), and Health and Wellness Programs!
Get Started
Veteran status will be verified prior to registration in a program. This can be done through a military ID, DD Form 214, Discharge Certificate, and other forms of identification.
You will also be asked to verify that your household income is at or below 120% of the Area Median Income and that you reside within El Paso County.

Early Learning Academies
YWCA Early Learning Academies offer comprehensive services for children ages 0-5 at seven locations around El Paso. We offer a fun, creative, and educational curriculum to prepare our students for school and have integrated an emotional and behavioral health curriculum throughout our locations. Learn more.
After School Programs
Located on more than 40 elementary school campuses, YWCA’s After School Programs keep students engaged and active from the time the bell rings until 6 pm. The programs are ideal for working parents and guardians but are also beneficial to students. YWCA After School Programs offer homework assistance, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) games and challenges, a literacy-based curriculum, USDA-approved snacks, physical activity, and more! Fitness and Aquatics Centers
YWCA offers family and individual memberships at our four fitness centers in El Paso. Our full-access pass includes our indoor heated swimming pools, weight and cardio rooms, Zumba and other indoor and aquatic fitness classes. We have something for every member of the family! Learn more.
Texas Veterans Commission subsidies are available for those who qualify and contingent upon funding availability from July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023
Funding is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance.
