Under general direction of the Supportive Housing and Workforce Development Administrator, manages the day to day operations and supportive services of the Sara McKnight Transitional Living Center (TLC). Provides guidance and support to company-wide initiatives. This position is grant funded.

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE Four (4) years’ experience in a management level position in human services related field required. Seven (7) years professional experience in a social services related field; or any combination of experience, training or education that provides the equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience working with a homeless or other shelter/housing program is preferred.

Must have demonstrated knowledge of regulating agency requirements and community resources. Must have working knowledge of Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) or experience with other federal tracking/reporting software, designed to track services. Ability to work in collaboration with other community agencies and volunteers required. Must be able to make sound judgments, have excellent decision making skills, and possess strong conflict resolution skills. Compassion to work with vulnerable and at –risk populations is essential and awareness of issues related to trauma, poverty, and homelessness. Must be well organized, able to work independently, and be able to handle multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Prior grant writing or grants management experience preferred. Must be able to work under pressure with interruptions. Must be able to operate a personal computer and have experience with MS Office software. Must have access to vehicle and possess valid driver’s license and sufficient liability insurance. Must acquire CPR and First Aid certifications prior to start of employment. Must maintain these certifications throughout employment. Must have or be able to obtain within 30days HMIS Certification.
