JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, assists the Development Administrator in designing, implementing, and coordinating a comprehensive operational calendar for fund development activities.  The Development Operations Coordinator will perform duties related to organizing, coordinating and preparing for the stewardship program; logistics related to special events hosted by the YWCA El Paso Del Norte Region; and day to day maintenance of the organization’s donor database. Assists with other projects as related to the Marketing and Communications, Fundraising, and Grants departments.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree and at least two (2) years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPEREINCE
At least two (2) years’ experience working with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software.  Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in office administration, accounting, or related complex clerical work.  Previous working experience in event planning and coordination.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be a self-starter and able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines.  Must have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as an exceptional eye for detail. Writing and editing skills in English required. Spanish reading, writing and verbal communication skills preferred.  Competency and hands-on experience in fund development.  Excellent interpersonal skills required, with ability to interact at all levels in a professional manner.  Must be organized and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a busy work environment.  Must be amenable to working evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.  Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a professional demeanor at all times.  Must be able to perform mathematical computations with reasonable speed and accuracy with and without mechanical assistance. Ability to prepare financial and other records of moderate complexity in a neat, legible manner required. Ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions and technical or legal terminology necessary.  High degree of confidentiality required for this position. Proficiency in operation of MS software including advanced knowledge of Word and Excel, and basic skills in Access and PowerPoint.  Must accurately type 50 words per minute. Must have access to personal vehicle with required liability insurance and valid driver’s license.
