Ginger Kerrick is an El Paso native who graduated second in her class from Hanks High School. She has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in engineering from Texas Tech University.

Ginger has had an impressive career at NASA, where she was the first female Hispanic Flight Director in the agency’s history. She is currently the Deputy Director of Johnson Space Center’s Exploration Integration and Science Directorate. where she provides direction to more than 400 civil servants and contractors to enable human and robotic exploration missions to the moon, cis-lunar space, and to develop/demonstrate capabilities for human missions to Mars.
