The Judy and Kirk Robison Mi Casa Homeless Program Services
The Judy and Kirk Robison Mi Casa Homeless Program Services (“Mi Casa Program”) provides subsidized child care to qualified homeless families residing in the El Paso area emergency shelters or transitional living centers. The Mi Casa Program provides the opportunity to enroll their children in a caring and enriching child care program at any of the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region Early Learning Academies. The Mi Casa Program is the only child care program in the city of its kind, with a sole focus on addressing the needs of families experiencing homelessness. Mi Casa allows parents to focus on pursuing or maintaining employment, and/or completing an approved educational program. In addition the Mi Casa Program provides transportation to and from the shelters to the YWCA Early Learning Academies.
Mi Casa Program Eligibility Requirements:
• Reside at a local emergency shelter or transitional living center in the El Paso county;
• Be capable to fulfill one or more of the qualifying activities;
