The YWCA El Paso del Norte Region offers financial literacy training from budget basics to retirement planning. The programs offered help the community members achieve self-sufficiency, economic stability and financial health. With the help of a professional empowerment counselor, you will set personal goals to begin your journey toward financial security.

Work one-on-one with an empowerment counselor for:

-Credit and Budget Counseling
-Debt Management
-First Time Homebuyer Counseling
-Housing Counseling
-Pre-File Bankruptcy Counseling
-Financial Education Programs

The YWCA also offers financial counseling for military service members, veterans, and their dependents.

The YWCA’s Economic Empowerment Division is a housing counseling agency approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) – is working in partnership with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, NeighborWorks® America and more than 700 housing counseling agencies across the country to help homeowners complete application materials for the program free-of-charge and successfully submit them to their mortgage company.
