Funded by the U.S. Army, Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood (ACCYN) seeks to ensure that military families arriving in our community have access to high quality, affordable childcare. Military families who enroll in the network receive military subsidies to cover part of their childcare costs.
ACCYN provides fee assistance to military and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian patrons living off post. ACCYN is a collaborative effort among the United States Army, the YWCA, and the Child Care Aware of America.
The ACCYN grant has established a network of homes and center-based facilities that offer high quality care and are nationally certified. ACCYN has partnered with the YWCA to ensure that Army families are secure in knowing their children are safe and in the care of well-trained professionals. Early Learning Centers operate from 5:30am to 6:30pm, Monday-Friday for children ages 0-5 years old.
