At the YWCA, we value your support and confidentiality. By providing your information, we are better able to serve you as our member or supporter. Protecting your privacy and information is very important to us. The following statement is provided to help you understand how the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region collects, uses and safeguards the personal information that you provide to us on our site. By providing us your information, you agree to accept this privacy policy. Any changes in this policy will be posted online 30 days prior to being implemented.

I. We respect your privacy

Our website does not collect any identifiable information from a user unless they knowingly provide it. No user is required to register in order to use this website. We do not collect information on which pages are visited or for how long. 

Often times there is an opportunity to provide contact information such as an email address, phone number or name to allow the YWCA to personalize your experience and follow up on any questions or requests you may have. Any time a user provides information on this website, ywcaelpaso.org, she/he is agreeing to share this information with YWCA employees or volunteers as well as agreeing to this privacy policy.

II. How do we use the information we collect?

Information volunteered by the user is used to help the YWCA better respond to the user’s requests and needs. Information provided may be used to further market the YWCA’s offerings; however there is always an option to unsubscribe. No information collected by the YWCA is ever shared with or sold to third party marketers.

III. What kind of control does the user have over their information?

Any time the YWCA sends out emails or text messages there is the opportunity for the user to opt out of receiving future messages. After receiving the opt out message from the user, it may take up to 30 days for the address or number to be removed from our mailing.

V. We protect your information.

We care about the safety and security of your information and transactions. Any information provided for a credit card goes through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSP) Protocol to encrypt data traffic. This makes it extremely difficult for anyone else to intercept the information that you provide us. You may always call us directly to make a donation at (915) 533-2311. Personal information provided by users and collected from the YWCA website is stored on our servers and is only accessible by authorized staff members. This information is password protected and only used by those who may need to contact our members or supporters in order to provide a more personalized experience for our users.

VI. Changes to the privacy policy

As our policies change, they will be updated within our privacy policy on the www.ywcaelpaso.org site as well as on email communications with our members and supporters.
