Military Support



The YWCA
provides guidance and support that helps families to regain a sense of normalcy through a network of programs and services available throughout various YWCA locations.   This network has many key support services: Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood (ACCYN), Army School-Age Programs in Your Neighborhood (ASPYN) and Economic Empowerment Services (CCCS) that are available for service members, veterans and their families

The YWCA provides a wide array of programs to serve our El Paso Military Community.

Early Learning Centers  Children enrolled in any of our 14 YWCA Early Learning Centers throughout El Paso are welcomed into a caring environment that incorporates best practices for child care and promotes the academic, social and physical development of each child.

Child Care Services (CCS) funded by the Upper Rio Grande Workforce Development Board, supports the work and training activities of low income families by providing financial assistance for childcare.  
 
Army Child Care Aware of America (ACCAoA) funded by the Upper Rio Grande Workforce Development Board, supports the work and training activities of low income families by providing financial assistance for childcare.  
 
  • Homebuyer education classes for prospective and new  homeowners
  • Housing counseling in order to address the growing crisis in the housing and mortgage industries
  • Credit and money management counseling for families and individuals, including debt management plans
  • Money management education programs - made possible with funding from the creditor industry
  • Community outreach sessions 

Army School-Age Programs in Your Neighborhood  has partnered with the YWCA to ensure that Army families are secure in knowin their children are safe and in the care of well-trained professional. Fee assistance and discounts are available for Army Famlies.
