Why parents and kids love our camps
For Children Ages Birth-12
The YWCA El Paso is where summer is celebrated every day and life-long friendships are made! Where children make the most of their summer and create memories that will last a lifetime!
Great Camp Choices
Our Outdoor Summer Camp for children 6 – 12 is a full day camp program at our beautiful Mary Ann Dodson (MAD) Camp in the Upper Valley. Activities at MAD Camp include swimming, games, crafts, sports, dance and children are served nutritious, home cooked meals and snacks. Parents may conveniently enroll their child in private or group swim lessons at the on-site pool during their camp time.
Parents looking for Summer Camp options throughout the city can go to any of our five branches and register their kids up for the YWCA Summer Camp. For children birth to 12 year of age, all campuses feature indoor and outdoor activities, games, swimming, arts and crafts and other special activities designed to enrich children’s out-of-school experiences. A healthy breakfast, lunch and snack are served daily. Parents may enroll their child in a variety of classes - music, ballet, gymnastics, cheer, martial arts and swim lessons - on location, during the day.
Our qualified staff is dedicated to providing a positive camp experience for your child. As nurturing, professional educators, your child will feel at ease quickly. All are CPR and First-Aid certified and trained in safety, supervision, decision making, and problem solving.
Fees: To receive the lower YWCA member rates, a $65 annual Family Membership fee must be paid.
